Windows 8 to be Launched in 2012

Microsoft doesn't have any comment on Windows 8 from long time after leak case on MSDN Blog. According to Microsoft Netherlands team on the 1st Birthday of Windows 7, The Future and Most power full  Operating System "Windows 8" Will be Launched in of year 2012. They also announced that Windows 7 SP1 will hit hit market.

Windows 8 - What's New...??

As we all know that after the successful launch of Windows 7, Microsoft has started its work on the next generation of the Windows known as Windows 8. Now we all are exited to know the features of the all new Windows 8. Here are some of the new features that i dug out for you.

1. History Vault - Have you ever heard of Mac's Time Machine Backup System ? The software works with the Time Capsule as well as other internal or external drives. It contains a History Vault. Microsoft are planning to add this feature in the upcoming Windows 8.


2. All New Internet Explorer 10- The all new IE 10 will be the default web browser of the Window 8. But whether it will be locked with the operating system (means you could not use any other browser) is unclear. Previously when Microsoft tried to lock IE with the Windows Europe forced it to break it out so that other browser could work in the operating system.


3. Processors- Intel and ARM processors will be the default processors for the windows 8 tablets.


4. Windows Store- Like the Apple Store, Microsoft has also decided to open up its online store known as the Windows Store.


5. Online Storage- Like the Apple's idisk, Microsoft's Windows 8 will be connected to Azure Online Storage service.


6. Build in PDF support- Apple has build in PDF support for a very long time and now Microsoft just like Apple is starting build in PDF support.


7. Hybrid boot- Using Hybrid boot booting will be a lot faster than any other previous version of the Windows. The PC will be in the Semi- Hibernation mode i.e. it will keep certain files loaded onto the memory so that boot time decreases.


8. Preloaded Piracy Check Software- This will tell the users whether the software they are using is legitimate or not.


While all of these features are not verified by Microsoft but some are. Hope that the New Windows 8 has much more advanced and user friendly features than all the other previous versions altogether.
